IGI Certified Diamonds

Independent Certification for Diamonds Over 1 Carat

Every diamond over 1 carat comes with an IGI certificate, providing an independent assessment of the diamond and its characteristics.

The certificate identifies the individual diamond and documents important specifications such as its carat weight, shape, measurements, color, clarity, and other grading details.

It gives you independent verification of the diamond you selected, so you have clear documentation beyond our own description of the piece.

Your GGL Jewelry Appraisal

In addition to diamond certification, your jewelry comes with a professional appraisal prepared by GGL, our gemological laboratory.

While the IGI certificate documents the individual qualifying diamond, the GGL appraisal documents the finished piece of jewelry as a whole.

Your appraisal includes details such as:

  • Gold type and weight
  • Diamond shapes
  • Number of diamonds
  • Total diamond carat weight
  • Center stone details, when applicable
  • Additional specifications of the finished jewelry
